Clinton Road is one of the most haunted roads in the United States, located in West Milford, NJ. Personally I have been twice and all I can say is wow. The haunted road is know for ghost sightings, Ku Klux Klan gatherings, witches, phantom lights and satanists.
This road is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area but beware if you go at night the locals like to drive up and down the road in lifted pickups and monster trucks with the lights off to drive up behind unsuspecting tourists and scare them.

The road is lined with trees and at a certain point there is an area that you can turn off on and end up at the Clinton reservoir that is extremely creep at night. It is said that phantom lights are sometimes visible over the reservoir.

While on the road you will also pass over "Ghost Boy Bridge" where it is said that a little boy drowned in the reservoir that runs below. The idea is you throw a coin from the bridge into the reservoir and the little ghost boy will toss it back to you, other accounts state that if you look over the bridge at the boy he will appear behind you and push you in.

Another sight to see is the Clinton Ironworks (not haunted from what I can tell but still cool to see).

Dead man's curve, basically a really annoying part of the road that just keeps turning. This part of the rad is site to many paranormal rituals.

Cross Castle is an abandoned mansion that burned down and is now home only to the ghosts and ghouls that live in the woods of Clinton road. Many people have reported receiving strange feelings or coming across satanic writings when visiting this site.

The above image is from the 1970's and shows some of the satanic writing sometimes seen on site.
So Clinton road...Haunted? Maybe, maybe not but definitely a must see if you are in NJ and love the creepy and haunted!
